The Criminal Investigation Division is comprised of  1 Lieutenant, 1 Sergeant, 2 Investigators and 1 Clerk.  The Criminal Investigation Division is responsible for investigating a variety of felony level crimes, including murder, burglary, robbery and drug investigations.  This division also handles all serious and fatal motor vehicle accidents, as well as internal  investigations and background investigations for perspective Deputy Sheriffs and Correctional staff.
