The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office has one full-time Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Stop-DWI Program.  This Deputy Sheriff not only patrol Chemung County in search of intoxicated drivers, but also participate in the educational aspect of Driving While Intoxicated.  He lectures at area schools and also participates in the county’s Victim Impact Panel, as well as the Drinking Driving Program.
