OffenderWatch Portal
The OffenderWatch Portal is utilized by all Police agencies in Chemung County to track and monitor Sex Offenders. It allows you to be able to search for offenders within a 1 mile radius of any address of interest to you, search for a specific offender by name, and register as many addresses as you would like to be monitored so you will be notified by email any time a new offender address is registered within 1 mile of the address entered.

Level 1 means the risk to the community is low.  This agency does not release any information to the public.

Level 2 means the risk to the community is moderate.  Relevant information including the offender's name, zip code, photograph, crime of conviction, modus of operation, type of victim targeted and any institution of higher education which the sex offender attends or is employed to any entity with vulnerable populations to the nature of the offense committed by such sex offender is disseminated.  The offender's exact address will not be disseminated by this agency.

Level 3 means the risk to the community is high.  Relevant information including the sex offender's name, exact address, photograph, crime of conviction, modus of operation, type of victim targeted and any institution of higher education which the sex offender attends or is employed at to any entity with vulnerable populations related to the nature of the offense committed by the sex offender is disseminated by this agency.

If the offender is not under direct supervision by Parole or Probation, there are no restrictions regarding that offender.  For example, being around children, where he or she may live, employment, etc.
