The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office provides security for the Elmira-Corning Regional Airport, as well as the Chemung County Human Resource Center.  Deputy Sheriffs assigned to these positions are responsible for the day to day security issues that arise at both locations.  Deputy Sheriffs assigned to the Airport work with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), as well as Airport Operations.  Deputy Sheriffs assigned to the Human Resource Center work hand in hand with the Chemung County Department of Social Services, Chemung County License Bureau, Office of the Aging and other entities that share the facility.
